About The Woods

The Woods offers the next generation of a senior living community designed as a neighborhood within a neighborhood of connected ranch homes. This design offers the privacy of your own home, with the convenience of community, amenities, and services. This 11.57 acre site is surrounded by woods, wildlife, and nature with walking paths connecting to the Whitnall School District Nature Pod.

The south neighborhood (58) one-bedroom and (14) two-bedroom leased residences. Each residence offers a private front door & patio, full kitchen with stainless appliances, quartz countertops, luxury vinyl plank flooring, full size side by side washer/dryer, safe no threshold shower, large walk-in closet, and individual HVAC units.

The north neighborhood (48) studio leased residences each have a kitchenette, stainless refrigerator, microwave, fully accessible bathroom, and shower area. Services include 3 home-cooked meals per day, housekeeping, laundry, personal care services, and 24/7 on-site concierge staff.

Unlike most senior living communities which are multi-story, big box, warehouse style buildings, The Woods was designed as a neighborhood of connected ranch homes. Each leased residence has its own private front entry door and patio, along with a back door providing indoor access to a multitude of amenities. This design provides a more “home-like” living experience allowing for more privacy and separation of living, while still having the convenience of quality amenities and services when desired.

What I love most about The Woods is its peacefulness. What particularly impressed me about this community was the underground parking, the inviting front door entrance and patio, and the security measures. Moreover, my time at The Woods has allowed me to establish numerous new relationships and friendships.
